From a long time, I have been collecting lot of random stuff that sparked creativity in me. That collection is my bliss station. Some of it is online, some of it is buried in the journals I have written. I started writing threads, last year, to share some of that ‘random stuff’ with you, and I have decided to continue doing it so.
I hope you resonate with them.
Last Sunday, 130 thousand people went silent in a stadium when Australia beat India in the Cricket World Cup Finals 2023. Australia were better that day. I have been following this 43 days long tournament on and off. The most creative shot for me was this Glen Maxwell reverse sweep against Afghanistan during his 201 run innings. The shot starts at 0:15
I discovered a Substack newsletter, Study Notepad. The way she organizes her work is commendable. I decided to do something similar to my newsletters. Yes, I did steal like an artist. Thank you Victoria.
Advertisements these days are mostly bizarre. There’s rarely any crispness to them. But this Phone Pe ad, really made me laugh for a long time. I have been using this slang during conversations a lot…. par daal tadka ke liye daal lagti hai
In 1935 Erwin Schrödinger discussed a thought experiment with Albert Einstein, which we famously know today as Schrödinger's cat. Now this is not just another experiment, it talks about the dual nature of wave and the uncertainty of the universe. The Quantum Mechanics world has always been full of surprises and Einstein is loosely related with this quote, "God doesn't play dice with the universe."
Now I for one get disconnected with my reality when I connect to these alternate theories of existence of parallel universes and more. Second, I believe everybody should be well versed with the basic concepts of Physics, because this is the closest we are to understanding nature. I was lucky enough to read, Feynman's Lectures on Physics in 11th Standard. Pick it up, you will be surprised. Here’s another portal for you to enter into.
I am very selective when it comes to downloading new apps. But here’s an Open Source App, One Second a Day, for you. It let’s you record only one second throughout the day. Why it’s good, why I think you should use it, we will talk about all of it in the upcoming Chitthi.
Thank you for showing interest in my work. This newsletter is supported by you, dear fellow creators. I hope you create something.
